Each day horse shows will be judged with ribbons awarded. This is all in fun. The only real pressure is to get your horse to class on time before the gate closes.

Horse Camp Counselor

What would it be like to be a horse counselor?

This is an opportunity for aspiring youth and upcoming young adults to learn, experience and to put to practice the skills they have learned.

From beginning to end, you will play a vital role helping prepare each day. Each morning begins with the routine feeding, watering and retrieving horses. This gives time to observe the well being of the horses and learn their personalities and comfort level. During camp, counselors will help campers brush, groom, saddle and bridle the horses. The day is filled with activities and responsibilities. We may get a little exhausted at days end, but a smile may come out as we look back to our successes and accomplishments.
